Hydro Turf Boat Installation
Replaced the woreout carpet in the boat with camo hydroturf. i just used the 3m backing and it worked very well. it was a noticeable difference on your feet and it help with sound and vibrations. Organize hydro-turf in the pattern of your sportboat to help identify the location of the pre-cut sections 3. prep surface (i contact hydro-turf about the raised dimples on the floor and they said it is not required to sand smooth.. I'm almost ready on my project ski to add turf, but what's the best way to install it? i have an 89 650sx tricked out and i wanna do something different than my wifes 650sx. i'm gonna turf the plastic chin pad piece, tray sides, dash, the plastic for the hood pads and around the ski where the rails and bumpers go..
I'm making final preparations to pply hydro-turf in a tracker 1654 cc with factory aluminum floors and front deck. there are some monster rivets along the edges of the center consol at the floor. i'd estimate they stick up ~1/8-inch or more from the console flange.. Freestyle skis like hurricane’s c3 competition hull feature complex contours and unique features like these foot wedges that make a hydro-turf installation very challenging to the casual installer..
