Building a radar arch i posted this on the boating forum, but got no response... maybe this is a better place for this thread. well guys and gals, i know this is a big undertaking and one which requires a great deal of time and energy, but i am going to try to build my own radar arch..
With these measurements and the boat top mounting hardware, i can fold the radar arch down if i need to without taking it off or disconnecting anything, just remove the forward bolts (or pins) and the side braces on the side of the flybridge (one screw on each side) and lay it down on some homemade braces in the cockpit.. Boat part number 1049362 is a new boat radar arch from rinker boats, originally made for 342 models (year unavailable). the cracks shown in photos are in paint (see photos). may also need to be repain.... Polished anodized uni arch fits most boats. adjust from 50" up to 96" wide. up to 60" tall. comes with backing plates, break away mounting hardware and 4 bolt on adjustable rod holders. you can add bolt on rod holders and mount them where you need, just like the 4 stock ones. or get the arch and ad extras later. very strong and usable unit..
